I had my site visits in person with Professor Melendez. It was nice to have these site visits in person since due to COVID, most site visits are now done virtually. For my first site visit, I presented 1 H&P about breast abscess in pregnancy, as well as 5 pharm cards. For my second site visit, I presented 2 H&P’s- both on patients with LLQ abdominal pain, but different in that one was pregnant and the other was not- so I purposely chose to do these 2 H&P’s in order to compare and contrast differentials for the same symptoms between pregnant and non-pregnant. I also presented another 5 pharm cards, and an article, which discussed ectopic pregnancy, since that was highest up on my differential. Professor Melendez gave me helpful comments and asked questions which helped broaden my learning. Overall, the site visits were wonderful and educational.
